The much-maligned youth vote
As we inch closer to November '08, everyone and their mother has a theory about what to expect from youth voting. The most common theory is, well, not to expect youth voting.

On Larry Craig and undercover cops
The scandal over Sen. Larry Craig’s arrest has ruled the airwaves, the blogs and the papers this week. Covert solicitation of sexual favors... heated denial... a Republican up for reelection... what more could you want?

Last night, two friends and I hunkered down around a laptop to watch the two-hour live online stream of Visible Vote '08, presented by LOGO and the Human Rights Campaign.
The broadcast was the first-ever LGBT-specific presidential forum. What’s more, it was hosted by an LGBT (that’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender) rights group on a gay-oriented television channel.
So what did I think?
