This Administration is quite frankly the unwanted gift that keeps on giving: The abundance of incompetence mixed with the paucity of accountability.

Even after Foley's "Page-gate" scandal, You wouldn't think an abstinence-only advocate frequently calls an escort service for, well, their "services," BUT...

The Deputy Secretary of State (excuse me, former deputy) Randall L. Tobias just couldn't pass on the irony!

Tobias strongly supported abstinence-only education in Uganda because it teaches young people that...

"the best way to keep from getting infected is to be abstinent and not engage in sexual activity until they are old enough and mature enough and get into a committed relationship, such as a marriage...being faithful within that committed relationship."

So why is he now the former deputy? Well, according to his statement he was "returning to private life for personal reasons."

I guess those "personal reasons" really means: I want more free so I can have "gals come over to the condo to give me a massage."

Before I go on, that was a real quote... and it is so wrong on so many levels that I don't know where to begin:

"Gals"--c'mon, that's just tacky... to "come to your condo"--c'mon, that's just lame... but, "to give a massage"--c'mon, that's the most absurd, incredulous defense I've heard since "the definition of is" line.

Oh yeah, did I mention these "gals" visiting his condo (just for a massage, of course) were employees of the DC Madam Pamela Martin and Associates escort service...

That is not what you would say if you are trying to absolve yourself from every semblance of culpability--it's what you would say if you were are stupid enough to call an escort service for a personal massage at your condo!

Only a couple days before, President Bush credited Tobias for his contributions in "America's monumental effort to confront and deal with the HIV/AIDS epidemic on the continent of Africa." I believe Bush best expressed those sentiments through an interpretive dance, which you can view here
