Campaign unmasks ‘comprehensive’ Sex Ed
The National Abstinence Education Association has launched a campaign to “educate” parents about the dangers of comprehensive sex-ed classes (classes that teach anything except abstinence).

Republican Group Asks for Protest Permit
Berkeley College Republicans have applied for the permit that Code Pink has to protest outside the local Marine recruiting center. The council will vote on the application on May 20.

Phyllis Schlafly shelled by college flak
Activists are protesting Washington University’s decision to give an honorary degree to Phyllys Schlafly, who gives such glowing pearls of wisdom as “[Feminists] want preferential treatment for women in jobs that most women don’t want and are really more suitable for men.” Classy!

The Liberty Counsel launched the completely unpolemically named “Friend or Foes” Graduation Prayer Campaign, which hands out red bracelets that say “I will pray” to remind the wearers to pray during graduation.
School Board Approves Bible Class for high school
Students will be able to study the Bible at Craig County High School. Former school board member Fay Powers pointed out, “Satan is here in Craig County High School. We fight Satan every day.”

Hundreds(!) of faculty and students wearing white armbands turned their back from Phyllis Schlafly as she got an honorary degree at Washington University. I guess she felt bad that “housewife” wasn’t listed as one of the career paths that graduates would be embarking on.
