Your Campus Through Conservative-Tinted Glasses
September has been a busy time for young conservative leaders across American campuses. More onslaughts onto the freedoms of college students have been launched in hopes to turn more campuses in a pivotal election year more conservative. Several YP4 bloggers are documenting the damage:
Your fellow students who want to pay in-state tuition will be required to prove their American citizenship in the future if current California legislation supporting undocumented students is struck down. Jude Paul Dizon marks shady new legislation limiting young people’s access to education with red flags.
If you still need money for books in the future, you can always join your school’s ROTC program, the one required on every college campus that receives federal aid. Patrick St. John is incredulous that both Obama and McCain have stated that they support this strategy.
In an ideal world through conservative-tinted glasses, a student learns about the great legacy of the United States from knowledgeable history professors. Alternative histories, such as colonized, gender, and racial histories, are “worked against.” It’s a program that I won’t stand for.
