White House to Win War With Aggressive PR Campaign

I was shocked to learn today of a classified, military violence tracking system which shows that Iraq is quickly moving towards a state of chaos.  It isn't  the existence of such a meter that is shocking, it's the reading that surprised me.

I would have expected such a dismal reading on the violence meter a few days ago, but not the day after the White House implemented its full proof "Attack Kerry Until the Insurgents Surrender" strategy.

Like you, I thought that all the time and energy the conservatives spent attacking Kerry and the Democrats yesterday would help us get out of this four year quagmire.

Unfortunately, like every other White House PR strategy for the war, this plan has done little to help the on-the-ground situation in Iraq.

However, wing-nuts are determined to make their new plan effective.  They have promised not to "cut-and-run" from their "Attack Kerry" PR plan like they did with their last aggressive Iraq strategy, the infamous "Stay The Course" PR plan.

Either way, conservatives everywhere are convinced that actual war plans will be useless for winning in Iraq.  Their time and energy suggest that they know something that most Americans don't:  The only way out of Iraq is through a tough and thorough PR campaign.

White House also leads the way in botched comments

I wonder if anyone remembers the President's "Botched Comments" that reflected his approach to Iraq:

Or this botched comment...

Kerry's words do not change the fact that it is Bush's strategy that has done the real damage.

Good call C Dub...

I am sick of the media falling in line with the Republican rhetoric.  Anyone speaking off-the-cuff is going to botch the words sometimes, but our President has taken his inability with the English language to a whole new level. To many people around the world, he represents the United States, and he has been at best an embarassment to us and at worst a diplomatic nightmare, but his mis-statements have often just been glossed over.

Poignant Quote...

from Sam Seder, "What is it with Republicans running against people who aren't even running or don't have any power? They're running against Clinton, they're running against Gore. Now John Kerry gets up there, makes a gaff and George Bush tries to make this whole campaign about what John Kerry said.  Meanwhile, 105 of our US troops die in Iraq in October."
