A group of Individuals Versus a Team of Legends
Last year I wrote a blog about Tee Shirt wearers, in which I wrote about people who are in the movement for there own selfish ambitions. Now I sit here and I see that we are a group of individuals working on our own projects and assignments rather than a team working on a singular purpose. I see my role as a senior fellow as a role player on a dream team of superstars the Michael Jordans and Kobe Bryants of our field. I see this Dream team working not nessecarily working together.
I think that this fellow ship is not about me or any other senikor fellow and thats what i think we forget. here at the summit we are here as a resource, Shepards if you will of the flock. and our responsibility is to encourage educate and cultivate these new leaders. Please do not get tjis message mistaken I too put my own goals above the fellows but last night i came to the realization that we need to come together to mentor this class instead of putting our own agendas first.
This is by no means a critissim of anyone in but a comentary on what our focus should be on. We are a collective trying to help a larger collecytive who look to us for help, advice and leadership.
