YP4 website update: We're back! And we've extended the application deadline.
As you may have noticed, the YP4 website was down over the weekend.
Everything's up again, including password reminders and resets.
Because having two days without access to the site interfered with fellowship applications and nominations, we've extended the application deadline to October 28.

Who Do You Want to Guest Star on the YP4 Blog?
The YP4 Blog often features guest bloggers who are leaders, young and not-quite-so-young alike, in the progressive movement.
Recent guest bloggers have included Mattie Weiss and Camille Cyprian from Campus Camp Wellstone, Matt Birkhold, Jill Filipovic from Feministe, and Ryan Huling from peta2.
I'm the YP4 staff member who coordinates the guest bloggers. So I ask you, gentle reader: Who would you like to see on the YP4 Blog?

I was reading YP4 Director Iara Peng's post at Alternet when I stumbled upon this comment:
There's nothing wrong with going after youth but if you're going to do so, don't focus too much on frivilous issues such as gays and
abortion. You're only taking them further for granted and may even be
sending them away as ripe GOP targets.
And it kind of fired me...as you can see in my reply.
