Riot police are on standby as citizens all across the United States are expected to take to the streets and celebrate the Dow Jones Industrial Average briefly hitting 12,000 points today, the first time ever.

While police are expecting huge crowds, notably absent from the party will be the 37 million people living below the poverty line, the 40 million people without health insurance and anyone who understands that the Dow hitting 12,000 only further demonstrates the growing gap between the rich and poor in this country.
