Live from Austin!
Live from Netroots Nation! The most redundantly covered event on the internets. Ever sense Neanderthal man scraped two opinions together to make a flame, he has dreamed of such a place. Two interesting things that have happened and I have learned.
1. You know that crazy guy who comments on the blogs you read? The one with the bad grammar? Yeah, he talks like that.
2. Wesley Clark and Howard Dean were the keynote speakers last night. Immediate Vice-President speculation/debate over who was better looking. Clark won after Dean tried to smile.
…
Howard Dean should never smile.

This month's Right Wing Watch is dedicated dedicated to the Caped Crusader. Also, my mom.
Patriotism, Sustainability, and of course, the Music: The first Rothbury Festival

Captain of Swift-boaters sails on wind.
I'm torn. I really am. I thought I could think about T.Boone Pickens as an unambiguous dick. Pickens, a life-long republican, put 3 million dollars into the verb-creating, candidate destroying Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. He then offered a 1 million dollar award to anyone who could disprove their claims. This happened. He changed his mind.
The fall of the house of Nader

From wikipedia "In its December 2006 article on the "100 most influential Americans"
in history, in which its ten invited historians voted Nader 96th, The Atlantic Monthly stated: "He made the cars we drive safer; thirty years later, he made George W. Bush the president."[70]"

Right Wing Watch on Campus--May
Oh May--Month of flowers, couples holding hands to make you feel bad about yourself, and of course the usual craziness on campus.
June Featured Fellows
