Kevin Killer used his 2006 Young People For (YP4) fellowship to educate people on his reservation about a ballot initiative that would have banned civil unions.
Coming from an area with 70 to 80 percent unemployment, he's now a trainer with Campus Camp Wellstone and has been elected President of the YP4 Network.

The Spiritual Youth for Reproductive Freedom (SYRF) Regional Training Institute is an activist and organizing training program taking place in Chicago, IL on March 3 and 4, 2008. The Chicago training will be the last stop in a four part training series which has received rave reviews from participants!
Each training will feature intensive skills sessions preparing participants to galvanize community support for reproductive justice in a faithful context. Trainings will be led by experts in the fields of organizing, religion, and reproductive justice. Session topics include event planning, communications, theology, personal leadership development, and more. View a sample schedule here.
