Well, I'm going to deviate from the usual Hillary vs. Obama line when it comes to Super Tuesday. Today, my call to you Californians is for this: 

As awesome YP4 fellows and generally wonderful people ~ I know everyone here who should be is registered to vote in the California primaries tomorrow. Well, here is my plea to you as an ex-Californian and member of a smallish tribe myself (Walker River Paiute).

As I am not able to vote in Cali like I used to ~ PLEASE do me a favor and vote a big fat NO on Props 94-97. Seriously ~ they give no indication as to how EXACTLY they will help any of the states programs, gives NO guarentees they will even go towards education and I seriously doubt that any of that money will ever go back to the other tribes. I know there are ads that say three whole tribes (out of the 106 Federally Recognized California Tribes ~ small fact: CA has nearly one fifth of the nations federally recognized tribes) support those props ~ but those are the 3 tribes with the highest revenues coming in ~ yes, I supose they CAN give away a quarter of their incomes and not be hurt as a community by doing so. You know who this hurts? The small tribes. Just cuz theres a casino on a reservation don't mean they're damn billionairs people! Shit, they aren't millionairs either or even $100,000-aris.

Vote NO on Prop 95
Vote NO on Prop 96
and
Vote NO on prop 97!!!!

Even if you don't give a fluff about us lil Indians, take into account the fact that the makers of these props don't ever say how the money will be split or even guarentee it will be used on what the ads say or when.

Decide on it yourself ~ I'll be fair alright?
