A forthcoming paper addresses David Horowitz’s oft-repeated charge that campuses are indoctrinating students with leftist faculty. The study finds that while yes, the majority of professors at university are left-leaning, they have no significant effects on students’ political bias over the course of the university experience.

And not differentiating is a bad thing?
Jason Mattera, spokesman for Young America’s Foundation, calls gender-blind rooming “extreme political correctness that doesn’t differentiate between men and women.”

“Scandal: 96 Catholic Universities have Pro-Homosexual Clubs”
TFP Student Action — TFP stands for “The Ameican Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property” — recently wrote a study showing that at least 45 percent of Catholic Universities have “pro-homosexual clubs. Many of these clubs share in the movement’s radical goal—to force social acceptance of an unnatural vice on Christian America.” They urge us to contact Catholic universities to prevent this “crisis” from continuing.

In which the ominously named “Center for Moral Clarity” attempts to portray the American Psychology Association as a bunch of politically active radicals for sending out letters to public officials. From the article (emphasis added):

Among the outrageous statements asserted by this knavish crew of PhD’s is a caution for superintendents to not be trapped into believing “that homosexuality is a mental disorder or that the emergence of same-sex attraction and orientation among some adolescents is in any way abnormal or mentally unhealthy, [and that such thinking] has no support among any mainstream health and mental health professional organizations.”
