New Organizing Institute (NOI) Summer Internship
2009 fellows may remember NOI from the "Beyond Throwing Sheep" online organizing workshop at the Summit, which were co-staffed by Leadership Academy fellow Mia Cambronero. –Fureigh
The Summer Intern for the New Organizing Institute (www.neworganizing.com) in Washington DC will work directly with the Executive Director, Training Director and Program Assistants on project management, website, training, and organizing projects.

Job Duties:
Assist staff members with various tasks including
- Training logistics and outreach
- Assisting with our major BootCamp training, including outreach, applicant review and various planning tasks
- Maintaining and finding jobs on the NOI jobs board
- Managing the NOI resource section of the website
- Tracking partner trainings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Passionate about organizing, technology, social change, and movement-building
- Highly organized, attentive to detail and motivated
- Seeking a career in the progressive movement
- Familiarity with logistics and planning preferred
- Able to prioritize and see tasks to completion
- Enjoys working in a small team setting
NOI's summer intern will receive a stipend of $1500/month.
