Kevin Killer used his 2006 Young People For (YP4) fellowship to educate people on his reservation about a ballot initiative that would have banned civil unions.
Coming from an area with 70 to 80 percent unemployment, he's now a trainer with Campus Camp Wellstone and has been elected President of the YP4 Network.

Little Black Book Editorial Board
Little Black Books (LBBs) are carefully designed to be handy guides for campus organizers and student leaders. LBBs are straightforward and to the point, but useful for even the most experienced progressive activists. LBBs focus on essential organizing skills, illustrated with real-life stories and case studies from college activists so others can learn from fellows’ experiences.

The Little Black Book Editorial Board provides an opportunity for fellows who have completed the first year of their fellowship to manage the editing, design and production of these handy guides and toolkits.
