Second Leadership Academy retreat
The 16 Leadership Academy fellows just had their second retreat in Washington, D.C. They now begin their second five-month placements with progressive organizations in New York, Denver, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.

Internship program launches
If you’ve successfully completed the first year of the YP4 fellowship program, you’re invited to apply for our dynamic four-month summer professional development program, designed to help fellows obtain dream internships and maximize their on-the-job impact.
The internship program focuses on building knowledge and professional skills for fellows pursuing careers in the progressive movement. Careers in the movement range from working at nonprofit organizations to starting a socially responsible business to influencing ideas and thoughts through journalism. Designed especially for leaders still in school or just starting out their careers, the program allows participants to balance their academic and personal interests with the unique opportunities offered through the program.

Clinton Global Initiative’s first-ever university forum
This March, hundreds of students will gather in New Orleans for the Clinton Global Initiative's first-ever university forum — CGI U — hosted by former President Bill Clinton.
CGI U is about working together to change the world. If you are passionate about taking real, concrete steps to solve pressing issues like climate change, human rights, and poverty, CGI U will connect you with hundreds of other students, experts, and activists to turn your passion into a Commitment to Action.
Apply now to join former President Clinton at Tulane University in New Orleans from March 14–16. Attending CGI U is free, and travel assistance is available. Apply for financial assistance by Feb. 4. The deadline to apply for CGI U is Feb. 18.
IMPACT Conference
The IMPACT Conference, taking place March 7–9 at Northeastern University in Boston, is the largest convening in the country of campus community members involved in service, activism, politics, advocacy, and other socially responsible work across philosophical and ideological lines. This event builds on the legacy set forth by the COOL Conference and the Idealist Campus Conference, spanning an incredible 23-year history.

SYRF Regional Training Institute
The Spiritual Youth for Reproductive Freedom (SYRF) Regional Training Institute is an activist and organizing training program taking place in Chicago on March 3 and 4. The Chicago training will be the last stop in a four-part training series which has received rave reviews from participants. The Institute prepares participants to galvanize community support for reproductive justice in a faithful context. Registration is free to accepted applicants. Apply by Feb. 18.

Immigration video contest: Win $1,000
What would it mean to value everyone equally, no matter where they come from and how they got to this country? How would you tell America that immigration is about community values?
The Movement Vision Lab is looking for videos to help tell the story of community values and immigration… for a $1,000 prize! Your video can be fictional or documentary, live action or animation, any form you want it to take. Entries must be submitted to them by Feb. 29.

PolitiCorps Summer
PolitiCorps Summer, a program of the Oregon Bus Project, is a 10-week boot camp consisting of hands-on general campaign skills training, innovative public policy intensives, and real-world applications of leadership skills and campaign savvy. Fellows receive a $1,000 stipend plus housing in Portland throughout the program. The regular admission deadline is March 3; the rolling admission deadline is June 6.
