The gentrification of the Mission District brought a "gang list" that affected young people in a 60-block radius, limiting their freedom of movement and association. Vicente Garcia used his 2007 Young People For fellowship to organize the community to stop the gang list.

The movements that have made this earth a more eqaul, fulfiling life for all. I work in the AIDS outreach and awareness movement in Dallas,Texas. Im also an advocate for sexcual assualt victims, rallying and providing information and resources to victims.In addition, I volunteer with The Dallas Peace Center and Youth Angel.
