Brian has served as the treasurer and president of SAGE (Sexuality and Gender Equality), a progressive, queer and ally group at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The objectives of SAGE are activism, community outreach and sustaining a social network of queer students, community members and straight allies.

Brian's work will not end until all forms of oppression and discrimination have been eliminated from this planet.
