Born in Enugu, Nigeria, Ivie immigrated to New York in the '90s. Currently a junior at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., she is majoring in sociology and pursuing a minor in political science, concentrating in public policy. She is the political activist chair of the NAACP and recruitment chair of Phi Alpha Delta, a pre-law fraternity. Last summer she worked as an organizer in the Bronx to help people of color and low-income communities build and sustain power to create change in their communities. She aspires to one day lead a revolution that will impact the lives of people and effectively create change for the better. She truly believes that everything can be achieved through hard work and dedication.
