Kevin Killer used his 2006 Young People For (YP4) fellowship to educate people on his reservation about a ballot initiative that would have banned civil unions.
Coming from an area with 70 to 80 percent unemployment, he's now a trainer with Campus Camp Wellstone and has been elected President of the YP4 Network.

Jude has been actively involved in the Cal Pilipino community and the Bridges Multicultural Resource Center since his first year and currently serves as the advocacy coordinator for Pilipino Academic Student Services (PASS), a student-initiated recruitment and retention center. Through PASS, Jude works to raise campus awareness of discriminatory educational policies and organizes his peers to dismantle the barriers students of color face in accessing the university. He is dedicated to multicultural coalition- building and organizing to transform the university into a truly diverse and inclusive environment.
