Meg is a grassroots community organizer and an office manager for the Texas Campaign for the Environment, an organization dedicated to holding corporations and elected officials accountable to the public health concerns of Texans. Her concerns with justice and environmentalism stem from childhood. The first landscape she recalls wanting to improve was the beaches of Galveston, Texas. She first became acquainted with social activism while she was a freshman in high school. Her personal hobby is poetry and she is a former president of the Rowlett High School Poetry Society. At Southern Methodist University, she is the current president of the Women's Interest Network.
