Kevin Killer used his 2006 Young People For (YP4) fellowship to educate people on his reservation about a ballot initiative that would have banned civil unions.
Coming from an area with 70 to 80 percent unemployment, he's now a trainer with Campus Camp Wellstone and has been elected President of the YP4 Network.

Miguel is a Leadership Education and Development Program presenter, a Funding Board member and a member of the California Public Interest Research Group and the American Society of Public Administrators. Through his leadership experiences, he has dedicated himself to promoting leadership and civic education among youth. He aims to establish a nonprofit organization that will aim to promote leadership and character development among young students.
