Kevin Killer used his 2006 Young People For (YP4) fellowship to educate people on his reservation about a ballot initiative that would have banned civil unions.
Coming from an area with 70 to 80 percent unemployment, he's now a trainer with Campus Camp Wellstone and has been elected President of the YP4 Network.

Nekpen serves as current President of the Baylor chapter of the NAACP, and is a member of the Baylor Student Government where she serves as Electoral Commissioner. She is a Fellows Candidate in the Baylor Academy for Leadership and Civic Engagement, and wants to pursue a career in public service working in the field of public finance or education policy. Her passions include working with homeless and immigrant populations in Texas, empowering youth to stay politically-engaged, reading non-fiction works, and cooking for friends.
