Nick Sippl-Swezey
(nsipplswezey)
Oberlin College
2008 Fellow
Nick is a student activist focused on understanding the impacts of climate change on developing nations. Having worked on community development projects in rural Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, he strives to promote sustainability as a means to protecting the human rights of those who will be most impacted by the predicted effects of climate change. He hopes that the response to the issue of climate change can be used to catalyze development, reduce poverty and promote equality around the world. He is currently an intern with Oberlin's Office of Environmental Sustainability.
