I write, dance, and design to save the world, or at least a very small part of it. ;)

I have been active in the youth nonprofit sphere for all of my life, ever since I was a Daisy Girl Scout. In high school, I attended Model UN conferences, then getting involved in United Nations Associations in Spain and the US, and working with UN-affiliated youth NGOs, including THIMUN Youth Assembly, the International Youth Assembly, and others.

I've been lucky enough to work with teenagers in incarceration facilities in Los Angeles, teach public high school students in New York how to draft a resolution and create a hook in a newspaper article, teach web publication to New Australians in Sydney, run a media team for the Young Alliance of Civilizations in Barcelona. Most recently, I taught was "web 2.0" meant to the Department of Public Information at the United Nations Secretariat.

When I'm not writing or doing web design for nonprofits, I belly dance, running the Bastet Belly Dance Troupe from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, where I am a senior in the Writing for Publication, Performance, and Media program. I think every girl was born a dancer; it is a language that everyone understands and finds joy in.
